This NIH grant funds discrete health-related research projects within the mission of participating NIH Institutes and Centers, and it does not accept applications proposing clinical trials. The application budget is not limited, but it must fit the actual needs of the project, and the project period can be up to 5 years. Many types of organizations can apply, including nonprofits, universities, governments, businesses, and foreign organizations, and foreign components are allowed. No cost sharing is required. Applications with foreign subawards or subcontracts are not allowed under this notice.
