The Delta Rural Integrated Health Network Program funds planning and development of integrated rural health networks in the Delta Region, including new networks or efforts to strengthen existing ones. Eligible applicants are domestic public or private, nonprofit or for-profit entities, but individuals are not eligible; the applicant must represent a group of at least three healthcare organizations and target rural healthcare organizations in the Delta region. HRSA expects 8 awards of up to $350,000 each, for a total of 2 years, and there is no cost-sharing requirement. Grant funds may be used only for planning activities and not for direct clinical health services, construction, real property, or equipment not directly related to the award.
