PSC Training for Residential Energy Contractors Grant Program

This program funds training for residential energy contractors who prepare workers to deliver energy efficiency, electrification, and clean energy improvements, including work related to the Inflation Reduction Act Home Energy Rebates program. It supports reduced training costs, workforce development tools such as training, testing, certification, and business management soft skills, and partnerships with community organizations to implement an equitable statewide program. Eligible applicants include private businesses, nonprofit organizations, Technical Colleges, the University of Wisconsin System, labor organizations, and other entities that meet the curricula and materials approval requirement.
