The Freight Rail Infrastructure Improvement Program (FRIIP) provides funding for freight rail projects in Wisconsin. It can support projects that connect an industry to the national railroad system, improve transportation efficiency and safety, advance intermodal freight movement, rehabilitate rail lines, and develop the economy. The page says FRIIP provides up to 100% loans and that funding is from repayment of prior loans.
