The Transportation Economic Assistance (TEA) program provides matching state grants to governing bodies for road, rail, harbor, and airport projects that help attract employers to Wisconsin or encourage businesses and industry to remain and expand in the state. It is intended to support transportation improvements that are essential to an economic development project and help create or retain jobs. Applications are funded on a first come, first serve basis when eligibility information is complete and satisfactory.
