This grant funds research on how work affects health disparities and health care disparities in the United States, including work as a source of risk, income and other benefits, and social status. Applicants must focus on one or more NIH-designated populations that experience health disparities, and projects must use a clear conceptual framework. Award budgets are not limited, the project period can be up to 5 years, and the number of awards depends on NIH appropriations and the quality of applications. Non-U.S. organizations and foreign components are not eligible, and projects outside the U.S. and its listed territories are not responsive.
